JOB FAIR

JOB FAIR AT AACC SET FOR THURSDAY, JUNE 5

New high school and college graduates, the unemployed, underemployed and those wishing to change employers or career fields are invited to attend the Thursday, June 5 Diversity Job Fair at Anne Arundel Community College in the Jenkins Gymnasium on the Arnold Campus.
Co-sponsored by AACC and The Employment Guide, this event is expected to attract at least 1,000 job seekers. The more than 40 employers attending the noon-4 p.m. event are seeking workers of all ages and skill levels, from those seeking their first job to transitional, retirees and older workers. Parking is free.
Dress for interviews and bring copies of your resume. WNAV-AM is broadcasting live from the event, so be sure to stop by their booth.
Some of the private employers and government agencies expected to attend include: AACC, Accountants Inc., Advance Communications Inc., Advanced Business Systems, AFLAC, Anne Arundel County Government and Anne Arundel County Police, Avon, Bayside Physical Therapy, Bello Machre, Correctional Medical Service, Fastenal, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Fed Ex, Genesis Healthcare, Maryland Department of Budget and Management, Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Maryland Division of Rehabilitation Services, Morningside Management, Nova Label Company Inc., Office Depot, Patient First, Provident Bank, Prudential Carruthers Realtors, Safeway, Sidus Group, TEKsystems, Thompson Creek, TSA (Transportation SecurityAdministration), U.S. Capitol Police, U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, United Parcel Service, Utiliquest, Vision Technologies, Davco Restaurant (Wendy’s), and WNAV Radio Sajak Broadcasting Corporation.
